Understanding the 75 Percent Pullback from Lows Open Alert

The icon for this alert describes the chart of the corresponding stocks. Start with the stock's opening price from today. Follow the stock down to today's low. Report an alert when the stock returns 75% of the way from the low back to the open. A stock can report this alert more than one time per day.

Note: This alert examines and reports on every print. This alert does not filter out or otherwise correct bad prints. This alert is typically used as a warning of something coming, so it reports as quickly as possible, rather than waiting for confirmation.

Our proprietary filtering removes the most insignificant moves.

Default Settings

By default, this alert will appear when the stock returns 75% of the way from today's low back to the open.

Custom Settings

For '75% Pullback from Lows (open)' alerts, you have the option to use an alert specific filter. This filter is located immediately to the right of the corresponding alert and is always optional. You can decide to leave it blank if you want to receive more alerts, or you can fill it in to restrict the number of alerts you receive.

This filter allows you to specify the quality of the alert. When you set a higher number for this filter, you are telling the alerts server to display only alerts that meet a higher quality standard, resulting in fewer alerts being shown.

This alert is based on a move in one direction, followed by a move in the other direction. This filter is based on the size of the first move. The first move must be at least 75% or we will not report the alert. The first point in the first move will be at today's open. The second point in the first move is today's low.
